Health is the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of a person. It is one of the important aspect of our life. Health education is that education which teaches us everything about our health. Health education is the most important education in people's life.
Health is very sensitive aspect of our life. Without knowing it , we may lose lots of things in our life. A healthy person is very conscious about his/her health. Meanwhile, unhealthy person is unaware of his or her health. There are two types of people, healthy people and unhealthy people. How much conscious they are towards their health , determines how healthy they are.
Health education is that tool which makes people aware of their health. This education is given to students from school level. This education can change one's life because it encourages us to follow good and healthy habits. This education convinces us to build those habits which is beneficiary to us like:
brushing our teeth twice a day ,
eating fresh and well cooked food
bathing every day
doing regular physical exercises and so on
are healthy habits taught by health education
This education also talks about diseases and illnesses caused due to unhealthy behaviours. Our simple step can either make us either healthy or diseased. Like brushing our teeth twice a day is a simple step but if we don't do so, our teeth becomes yellow/black and is infected by harmful bacteria and may decay which is bad for us. So simple steps of healthy habits should be adopted. This education teaches us about our food habit which is most important factor of our life. It encourages us to eat fresh and nutritious food which will make us healthy and strong.
It teaches us about rest and sleep. A man on average should take rest of 5 to 7 hours depending upon amount of work he/she does. But it is not the exact number of hours for all. Different person requires different amount of sleep. Sleep acts as a lubricant for our body. It increases efficiency of our body. We can work efficiently after taking a good rest.
Bathing cleans our body totally. It removes sweats, dirt and foreign bodies from our body. It gives great relax to our mind. It makes us stress-free and makes us joyful. After bathing we must wear clean clothes which is free from dust particles. Bathing twice a day is far better than bathing once a day. Bathing always and wearing clean clothes also makes us attractive.

Health education not only teaches the well-being of body also it teaches us to be mentally, socially and spiritually healthy. There are lots of advantages of health education. Although it is taught in schools but implementation of healthy habits is not seen among the children. There are very few children who are conscious about their health. Schools and colleges should focus more on health education for producing healthy citizens and manpower in the country.
